What experience do I need to join your workshops?
Answer: None! Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, these workshops are designed to help writers and creators at all levels.
What should I bring or prepare?
Pending what class you’re taking, you’ll be guided on specifics. But starting with your trusty laptop and a notebook, pen, and any fancy ideas or drafts you’d like feedback on is a good place to start.
How long are the programs?
They vary, but for the most part there’s bundles of classes – one per week – over a stretch of six to ten weeks. Private consults are available too, if you seek more one-on-one guidance. And for those seeking a more budget-friendly option, video lessons will also be available at later dates.
Will there be hands-on exercises?
Answer: a big YES! We’ll have tons of interactive activities, writing prompts, and opportunities to share and receive feedback. It’s the primary way Kelly teaches!
